Project teams from all areas of the business have been working together to develop better more efficient practices, cut down on rejects, improve product handling and raise awareness of safer, cleaner more efficient working environments.

The implementation of ‘5S’ throughout both plants has revolutionised the way many of us now work and the difference is immediately obvious not only in the better work environment but more so in the quality and improved efficiency of our everyday practises.

Large notice boards are being prominently displayed in both factories.

The boards have a mixture of photographs, graphs, comments, updates and information to maintain interest while at the same time informing all staff, and visitors of progress to date and planned expansion of the scheme.

The very nature of the program; ‘Continuous’ means this is only the beginning of something that’s fast proving vital and integral to the quality of our products, the improvement of our work environment and the motivation of all our staff.
