Last week we attended the EK&BBusiness Awards in London at Brewery House. We were shortlisted for the Best Online/Social Media Award with some great big brands including Egger UK, Miele, Roman, MaxTop and InSinkErator.
Around 500 guests were treated to a Champagne reception upon arrival, followed by a three-course meal with live entertainment from Britain’s Got Talent’s vocal group Jack Pack, supported by last year’s entertainment the It Girls.
British comedian, author and world record holder Tim FitzHigham – the man who rowed a bathtub across the English channel – then gave the Review of the Year, looking back on all the highlights of the KBB industry.
The host of the afternoon, comedian Rob Beckett, then treated guests to a side-splitting stand-up routine before presenting our 13 category winners with their awards. Finally, to round off a fantastic afternoon, a gospel choir was revealed to see off guests.
We were thrilled (and shocked as you can see from the video!) to win the Award for Best Online/Social Media. “It is great to see how much digital marketing has impacted BA Components since starting this post in 2014. To be rewarded for these efforts at industry level is amazing! I only hope to grow the digital aspect of the business even more throughout 2018!” says our Digital Marketing Executive Clara Maybin.
