5 Spring decorating ideas for your home

Can you believe that it’s March already?! And there’s only a few days until we will be unveiling our new colours and designs at the KBB Birmingham 2016.

We can’t wait to see you there – meet us in Hall 17, Stand O90 from the 6th – 9th March 2016. To celebrate entering the new season, we’ve compiled a quick list of some great Spring decorating ideas to showcase that Spring has undoubtedly sprung in your home.

1. Use pastel colours

Delicate wall colours or a subtle floral print wallpaper or runner is a sure fire way to lighten and brighten up a living room or bedroom in your home.

2. Incorporate matt furniture

A matt coloured wardrobe or bedroom furniture is ideal for creating a soft touch to your home interior décor.

3. Invite nature in

What better way to showcase the beauty of springtime than to bring a little bit of nature and new life into your home? A vase of freshly picked spring flowers is the best centrepiece on a kitchen table or entrance area in your home. Plus the scent is amazing!

4. Dim the lights

Installing a dimmer switch instead of an on/off light bulb is ideal for creating a soft ambience in your home. This will help your home to feel bright and cosy with the warm glow of light associated with Spring.

5. Update your fabrics

A new duvet cover or throw for the bedroom; or cushion covers and a rug in the living room will definitely freshen up your home interior for spring. Choose light and bright coloured fabrics with pretty patterns to really showcase that Spring has sprung in your home.
