A vacancy has arisen within our Office Operations team at the Doncaster site for a Technical Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a flexible approach to work in a business environment.

Reporting to the Office Operations Manager the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Produce accurate costing estimates in response to customers / product developments
  • Create and input system master data for new products
  • Maintain existing master data to reflect on-going amendments to specification / procedures
  • Communicate with external contacts on technical issues
  • Liaise with internal colleagues regarding product set-up, routings and other technical aspects
  • Interpret and produce CAD production drawings
  • Adherence to the Company Health & Safety Policy is essential

Working in a positive and productive office environment, the successful candidate will provide quotation services, CAD drawings and Technical support to customers and colleagues alike.

You will have an operational understanding of CAD software programs, and be proficient in the use of MS Office programs, particularly Excel and Access. You must be capable of producing work to high standards of accuracy. You will have excellent communication skills and will be expected to develop working relationships across all departments of the business. You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and capable of working to challenging deadlines.
